The 1950 Chevrolet panel van and 1946 Desoto are good for my postwar early 1950's steam era.1

Tons of 4 mm-1/76 stuff announced and some interesting 1/72 aircraft including a twin beech bonanza.

I have quite a lot of the Oxford vehicles. I saw the Dodge pickup and DeSoto announced on their web site, Like the 54 Pontiac Chiefton and the 57 Cadillac. I have over 250 HO vehicles and I try to get as accurate a model as I can and Oxford seems to be improving with each new vehicle they bring out. My layout is set in the summer of 1957. These will be great additions.

Drivers still wanted.....At least you can open an Oxford vehicle and put an amputated driver in the drivers seat. Passengers too.

I just ordered the Preiser 16335 set of truck drivers and passengers. As the drivers and passengers will be inside vehicles, simplified painting is all I need to do. I notice some are already amputated to stuff behind the wheel. Will have fun when that set arrives.

bummer bummer bummer, for the office layout I need some modern cars. Focus, Edge, Sedona, Camry, Accord, Pilot, Caravan, CR-7, Highlander, Impalla, Ram 1500, etc. from 2010 or higher. You know stuff that will fill a NORMAL USA street today. Almost all modern vehicles I can find are rare or exotic and usually Eurpoean. A street filled with things like that is just as toy like as Tootsie-Toys.

It is a real shame that not many more modern passenger cars are available. The selection of trucks are great, and I know what you mean about most modern cars being European, and exotics.

Modeling 1957, there is a wealth of passenger cars, but I sure would like to see more trucks for this time period. Part of my hoard.
