1st layout

First, thanks to all the guys who reply to my questions, I really appreciate the help. 2nd, I thought I'd post a few pictures of what I do have done on my first (and probably last) layout attempt. I have not even half of it finished. Anywhere you see brown will be road or parking lot of some sort. TKS

Looks good...working on my first layout. Hopefully I can make it look half as good.
Thanks. I do a lot of on line research and of course asking questions. It's suppose to be the DL&W (Lackawanna) in the later 1950s when I was a kid and my grandfather and uncles were working for the RR and I could see the trains go by from their house. First thing I tried to do was get the DL&W building colors right and use stuff like real coal and plants for trees and I've got some real granite chicken starter grit coming from a feed store for track ballast. I've waited over 25 yrs to have room to build this and it will be my first and last so I want it right. The mountain waterfall/bridges and stream leading from it will be a challenge. Good luck with yours.
