Do you use 3D printing ?

Thanks, I like it a lot, also :) BTW, my friend Arin is running right now an Indiegogo campaign, maybe you could give him a hand to spread the word. The campaign is here - https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/reviving-the-cars-of-the-past-with-3d-printing/x/11481020

Do you use 3D printing ?

Hi guys, Do you use 3D printing for your models and diorama ? I have a really good friend, Arin Panait, and I really like his work. I've attached some photos below, maybe you like it too :). Most of his builds are in O scale (1:43)

    Rural side, Z scale diorama

Well, you can print at any scale, I think. A friend of mine is creating 1:43 truck models based on my 3D prints. Have a look here at his work, you can hardly say it's 3D printed - http://arin.panait.net/sr-114-cisterna-peco/

    real scenery map ?

Hi RCH, I've hired a professional who raised the terrain configuration for me. As output from him, I have an A3 page with 13 level curves and around 120 points. As I was very impatient to take a look at my model, I've took a photo of the paper sketch, and I've used the photo as input (after...

I've finally decided on the area, near my hometown. As I couldn't find any map with enough details, I've decided to ask somebody to raise a map for me. The measurements : Viorel, http://www.myhobbymodels.com

    real scenery map ?

Thanks for the valuable advice, guys ! :). I do imagine that the things I will be able to put on my 1 m / 1.6 meters will be very few, but I still want to give it a try :D. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

European N gauge modular layout standards ?

Hi, I'm just starting my layout here. I have in mind a modular layout, so that I can move it easily around. What is the most used standard for modular layout in N gauge ? I've found the NEM standards (http://www.morop.org) but unfortunately only for HO, and not N . And also FREMO : 87...

    real scenery map ?

Hi, I'm on the way to start my small N scale diorama. I have 1 meter / 80 cm available space (that's 100 meters / 160 meters in nature). I have in mind that for this project to try to replicate as close as possible a surface that actually exists somewhere. I don't mind my layout will be...

    some old fences

Some news on my layout ;). The fence is not yet in it's final position, it's more like a test. I want first to finish the yard, otherwise I would not have enough room to work. More photos available here ...

    a wreck

conrail, the only part that would look good around I think it's the wheels of the car...if I manage to separate from the body...the car it's from a starter set...it's not too detailed...the rest of the body is too rough to add here...it's too monolithical MLW, there are many close-ups on...
