    Possible new link to vehicles

Nice to see the wide variety in models especially the 70-80's models. I'd also like to see one painted before buying.

    Construction...

Hmmm... 10x12' layout room with a large rec room next door. I can't see me getting away with it without serious bodily harm:p

Is Your Layout DC or DCC

Mine is dcc. I like the ease of use plus the available sound and light functions that dcc offers and price wise there isn't much difference if you look for bargains.

New Athearn Locomotive at Trainfest will be...?

I'd like to see a B36-7 but I think i'll have to wait for Atlas to do that one. The SDF40 is a possibility or maybe a commuter F40.

    Weekly photo thread

Lol. Never saw that regular occurring event modeled before. Is the trestle scratch built or a kit?
  19. PEIR

Who will deal with the model railroad when I can't?

If you have any favorite pieces you can specify that they go to a relative or friend. A larger collection could go to a museum or historical society or perhaps a children's hospital.
  20. PEIR

    rock salt

On an older three-bay grain car in salt service how full would these car be? 1/2 to 2/3 full? How long would one of these cars typically last in salt service ?
