Weee... some updates. Remaining track arrived, fencing going in, new locos and detail parts standing by and placement of structures in.
-
I will have more updates in May. I have built a few more things, adjusted some details and location of some structures and have my other backdrop ordered. I'll be in Atlanta and then Wisconsin through the end of this month. I'll have some new pics when I get back from being on the road.

The driveway has yet to be completed. I don't think it will stay at that house :D

Thanks all! It's getting there slowly but steadily. There is a plan for expansion on the end I'm working on now with potentially another L shape. Working on configuring potential track layouts.

Warehouse added. Made using styrene, atticat foam board and a few plastic pieces from a Walthers cornerstone kit

Now for the real treat. With the lights off in the room, here she is all lit up

Let there be LIGHT! All my switches and light hubs arrived today

New Athearn Genesis GP38-2 arrived today :)

crazy end to the year but here are a few updates. The creek area in picture 3 is now what picture 1 and 2 are. It's being repurposed to add elevation and more structures and detail to this section of the layout. I am awaiting my lighting modules to go ahead and get some lights hooked up and...

I wish I had more time to dedicate to working on this but fall is my busy season. I came home from 7 weeks on the road to take a pic for you all on my cell phone... :) saw the opportunity for some shadow effects thanks to the sun hitting this side of the layout just right. Next time, I'll pull...

New video shot with a cell phone. Almost finalized the 2nd section diagram to begin the final base phases of it.

Been uncertain of modifications that are incoming. While I try and figure them out, here is a new video to check out of my layout with nighttime operations. Hoping to have my lights hooked up soon.

Hey all. I fell victim to covid for a third time, but this go around, it got me bad. Lost my taste buds, had high fever and swelling in the throat. I've been down and out for the past 2 weeks and am just now getting back up to be able to work. I'll be back on the layout in July. Sorry for the...

I had someone complain about it on another thread so I figured to keep the peace, I'd best leave them out. I didn't realize it was there until I went to scale down the photo on my computer..

New structures added. They are not permanently set as I continue to figure out the best place to put them, but I like where they are at the moment.
The 1st picture has an intentional Microsoft paint blob to block out a "naughty scene" figure laying around

Intermountain SD40-2 with added ditch lights and small details such as correct plow and rings above the ditch lights done by Jim at Delano Mountain Custom Models. She is sitting on the main on a dark, stormy evening on the layout.

Just my Dash 8 sitting on the main :)

Back from out of town for almost 2 months. A few updates. I had a rethink on my forest area up front so I deconstructed it to have a better view of the yard from more angles. The Reinshold section is coming along.

I liked them too and since this is a switching layout, the smaller cars are preferred to longer ones. Tighter radius, 22", they look better than full length ones.
