  • Hi Jimmy,
First I want to say I too apologize for taking so long to get back to you too. I've had my share of pit falls and
still attempting to deal with issues about my Mom that I too took care of for 2.5 years day and night so I well
know just how demanding yet rewarding of a job that is!

    >So No need to concern yourself about lag time as I too have not always been on the forum all the time so it a
mutual understanding. Actually it is I that should be asking your forgiveness as I'm not sure I got back to you
in full about the issue of the wheel flanges hitting the tops of the spikes which is annoying and I have run into
it too depending on the flange depth of some of the wheel sets.

Hey JimmyG, good to 'meet' you. Actually, my son and I are freelancers, but we include a fair share of Rock Island, which is who ran the 500 miles Interstate now runs. We railfan Interstate quite a bit. I drive by their Council Bluffs yard everyday commuting from Walnut and have been planning on adding them to our collection. We're pretty new to it all still. Only been in the hobby a little more than 2 years. Getting a room painted now to house a "new" HO layout (8'x6'). It's our second attempt since we jumped into the first one a little too fast. I'll link to photos when we make some progress. Take care! IAinterstate(Brett)
Sorry, I just now noticed that you had answered. As you probably know, "Take the A-Train" is the name of Duke Ellington's signature song. The similarity was close so I thought you might have been a jazz musicican or afficinado. Sorry I could not make it to the train show in Omaha.
