Alabama Central Steamers

SRR #949 F1 class 4-6-0. This loco has special meaning for me as my Dad was assigned to this loco in 1935. According to "most" of the authorities, SRR never painted their cab roofs red. It actually depended on 2 things. Shop practice and engineer senority/wants. This loco did have a red roof. I still have a copy of the order as done in the Selma, Al shops where the engine was based.

Great 'Casey Jones' sir, and wonderful story behind the red roof..!
I have the HO Bachmann, also SRR, which is a little gem. I think your drivers are taller than mine (which I'd prefer) making it not a Bmann; perhaps a Riv, or brass import..Or, it's solely because of lots of added detail, paints, and bashing you've done ?
