Conrail Quality
Went to the Great Scale Train Show today in Timmonium, Md.
Probably the best show I’ve been to ever. Amazing deals.

A 14 car haul haul for $80! Wow.

And a bad ass Conrail shirt!

$80, all that !!!!, WOW

Where do I send my list to for next year ? :D
This guy must have had several hundred cars there. Some, as you can see, we’re brand new! Getting those E&C shops CSX kits made my day. Don’t know where to put them yet though. Gotta figure out where to add some more yard tracks!

I'm here with my modular club, PWMRC.
Not buying a lot, just fresh tools and modeling material.
At least 10 modular clubs. Several HO and the rest are other scales.

Wish I knew that. Would have stopped by and introduced myself. KriegslokBR52 was there too. Missed him as well.

I always did like that show. Too bad its to far away for me now,...St Augustine, FL

I had to be content with Jacksonville show on this past Sat. There were a few deals to be had, and I missed one on some B &O passenger cars. Probably just as well, as i really don't need any more cars, nor engines.

one of the brass dealers at the Timonium show had the Pennsylvania Queen Marry in authentic paint.
Beautiful, depressed center heavy duty car. They wanted $697 for it. Prolly would have dickered on the price a bit, but prolly not a lot. I was so tempted to buy it, but then, the dizziness went away and I put the box down and walked away.

Everything was put in to storage since I don't have a layout. Here is a picture of the Berkshire, the 4-4-0 I got on eBay.

When I am able to afford a house. In the meantime I joined a modular club so I can run my equipment.
That's your best option. You can gain quite a bit of expertise in a modular club. A 2X4 foot module allows you to experiment then wipe it clean and start over as needed. When you finally do get your home layout started, you have amassed quite a bit of lessons learned.
