Yo gotta remember when you get to your retirement house....you're still expanding the layout. I can see transfer lines, dead lines and other stuff that would warrant all of your roster! Thanks Willie. But I am trying to be practical. I already have enough to populate this industry, so something has to go. Besides, I have duplicates of a few critters.
Man, always the second to ask.....Got any Great Northern's to get rid of?
Guys the only Great Northern switcher I ever remember having was an old Athearn blue box S12. That was a long time ago.Man, always the second to ask.....
No I'll pass on putting track on them. I plan on putting I small piece of trim to the front edge of each shelf. That will keep anything from sliding off. We get a lot of vibrations around here from the Army shooting off artillery. I've already lost a Big Boy to falling off of a 7' shelf. Are you going to put track on those shelves? Or just set the locomotives on the wood? Or are you going to go crazy and put ballasted track on the shelves?
Ouch. That must have stung when you found that Big Boy on the floor. No I'll pass on putting track on them. I plan on putting I small piece of trim to the front edge of each shelf. Ok, so I got distracted again. Was getting tired of these bare walls so I pulled some of the RR decorations. Still have a ton of 1:1 signs to hang on the long wall.View attachment 114627

199 engines on the shelf now. I have 400+Why build a large display shelf when all or most will eventually be sitting in the junkyard full time, the shelf empty ?..
I can't imagine the grand total value of all those engines. Personally, I'd rather have 4 engines and a new Mercedes... 🛤☀
