Yes they are huge and lots of work involve, especially when you don't want to build it like on the box cover and like everybody else.

Just came back from my NMRA meeting and what better way to celebrate the 150th birthday of the Golden Spike by receiving the Golden Spike Award from the NMRA.

Awesome! Congrats! Have been considering pursuing some of the achievements, beginning with the Golden Spike.
 
Looks great. Are you using the chooch paper? If so how would you attach the paper to plaster? I have read that if it is the chooch paper with the adhesive backing in time it starts to come off. Thanks for any help.

No it's not Chooch paper and the building is not made of plaster. It's embossed paper on styrene.
It's embossed paper that comes from Greece and if on wood, I use white glue and if on Styrene, I use double sided carpet tape, but don't make a mistake because you can't remove it.
