That is cool. That would be great to have your own backyard steam RR.

A few miles from me, a fellow built a backyard RR and scratch-built everything. When he ran the train - people would park along the road and watch. He was a machinist by trade and built a 2-6-2 live steamer and 5 cars. Near the road, there was a 20' x 4' high wood trestle that looked extremely prototypical. I mean Real Nice! I never got a chance to talk to him or view his RR up close as he passed away 16 or so years ago.
Nobody ran or took care of the RR. The trestle rotted and fell into a pile. Last year, what was left of the RR, was removed and the property was sold. That's a real shame.
